During a storm, your live event view carries a short, reassuring status that refreshes about every minute. It's built to be honest in both directions — honest about progress, and honest about what a constantly rerouting fleet can and can't promise.

The fleet pulse

A live line like "The fleet is out — 65% cleared." It's always a percentage, never a raw count — you get a true feel for how far along the storm is without the service ever disclosing how many properties the fleet serves. The figure is rounded, deliberately.

Your place in line

When your property is close to the front, you'll see something like "about 6 stops ahead of you." Two honest rules shape it:

• It only appears when you're 10 or fewer stops out. Further back, the number would be meaningless — the fleet continuously reoptimizes, and a "place 40" would jump around without telling you anything real.
• It never goes backwards. The underlying order genuinely shifts as the swarm reroutes, but your displayed estimate only ever gets smaller. You see steady approach, not the engine's internal churn.

Why it matters

The worst part of waiting is not knowing whether anything is happening. The pulse says the fleet is working and here's how far along it is; your place says you're coming up. Both are drawn from live dispatch data — and neither exposes anyone else's information.
