The customer portal

A signed-in home for a customer's properties, live event, history, and settings.

One signed-in home

The customer portal is where your customers manage everything about their service in one authenticated place. It's scoped to what they own — a customer can only ever see their own properties and visits.

What's inside

  • A dashboard — their properties and current service status at a glance.
  • The live event — a live map with the swarm working, plus per-stop live ETAs during a storm.
  • Service-visit history — every past visit, with the materials applied and the photos taken on the property.
  • Storm history — a record of the events their properties were serviced in.
  • Support tickets — a channel to reach you without a phone call.
  • Notification settings — unsubscribe from email or SMS alerts per channel (re-subscribing means asking the operator to turn it back on).

How customers get in

Onboarding uses a magic link — a customer clicks a secure, time-limited link and they're in, no password to invent or forget. It fits the same passwordless approach the rest of Snowmass uses.

Ownership, enforced

Access is ownership-scoped at the data layer: a customer requesting a property or visit that isn't theirs gets a 404, not someone else's data. That isolation is built in, not a setting you have to remember to switch on.

The portal is the hub the other customer features hang off — tracking, history, and alerts all lead back here.
