Live ETAs from the real dispatcher
A per-stop arrival time projected by the same engine that runs dispatch.
Not \"sometime today\"
The most common complaint in snow removal is "when will you be here?" The usual answer is a shrug or a window. Snowmass gives your customers a live ETA for their property — a per-stop arrival time projected by the same swarm logic that drives real dispatch.
Why it's credible
A static route can promise "we'll get to you today." A dynamic swarm can do better: because the engine is continuously scoring which machine takes which property next, it can project when your property is likely to be claimed and cleared — and update that as the storm actually unfolds.
- The ETA moves as conditions change — a machine breaks down, a lot takes longer, the fleet re-spreads.
- It's the projection from the real engine, not a separate promise a dispatcher typed in and forgot.
Where customers see it
The live ETA appears in the customer's live event view — inside the portal and on the tracking embed. As a machine gets closer, the estimate tightens.
An honest note
An ETA is a projection, not a guarantee. Weather, plow ridges, and access issues move real arrival times. The value is that it's grounded in live dispatch data and updates continuously — a far cry from a static window, but still an estimate. Setting that expectation with customers keeps the feature a trust-builder rather than a rod for your own back.
