Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 2026-07-15

Snowmass is committed to making its dispatch platform, operator tablet app, customer portal, and public website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as our conformance target across both English and Canadian French.

Our commitment

We treat accessibility as part of shipping, not an afterthought. Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA, and we hold new work to it — including a fully designed dark mode, a reduced-motion path, keyboard operability, and bilingual (EN / fr-CA) parity.

What we do

Across the product we aim to:

  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA so screen readers can announce structure, state, and controls.
  • Provide a visible keyboard focus indicator and full keyboard operation, including a command palette and escapable menus and dialogs.
  • Meet AA colour-contrast in both light and dark themes, and never rely on colour alone to convey status.
  • Size touch targets for gloved, in-vehicle use on the operator tablet.
  • Honour the operating system's reduced-motion preference, disabling non-essential animation.
  • Offer the full experience in English and Canadian French, including notifications.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party map tiles and controls are outside our direct control; we surface the essential information in accessible text and chrome around them and continue to improve coverage.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please let us know — we treat accessibility reports as priority fixes and will respond promptly.
