Service plans
Define what done means at a property — the scope the swarm and crew work to.
A service plan is your definition of done
A service plan (called a ServiceType internally) describes the work a property gets: plow the lot, clear the walks, apply material, or some combination. It's the shared definition of "cleared" that the swarm dispatches toward and the operator confirms on the property.
Create a plan
- Open Service plans and choose New plan.
- Name it for the scope, not one client — Full residential clear and Light residential travel across many properties; Maple Court plan doesn't.
- Describe the work included so the property instructions are unambiguous.
- Save.
Reuse plans across properties
The whole point of a plan is reuse. Build a handful that cover your real service tiers, then attach them to properties through each property's job. Change a contract by pointing the job at a different plan — you rarely need a one-off plan per property.
Why the swarm needs it
The plan is part of how a property is scored and what the operator sees on arrival. A property with no plan can still be cleared, but the crew won't get a crisp instruction for what "done" means there — which is exactly the ambiguity that leads to a callback. Set a plan on every property that matters.
Keeping plans tidy
- Fewer, clearer plans beat a sprawl of near-duplicates.
- Edit a plan and every property using it updates at once — deliberate for a fleet-wide standard, dangerous if you meant to change just one property (change the job instead).
