Property contacts
Attach the people who should hear when their property is being cleared.
Who gets the updates
A contact is a person tied to a property who can receive automatic status alerts — pass started, crew en route with an ETA, service complete, storm wrapped. Add the property manager, the on-property super, whoever actually wants to know the plow is coming.
Add a contact
- Open the property and go to Contacts.
- Choose Add contact and enter their name.
- Add an email, a mobile number, or both — each channel the contact wants.
- Set their language (English or French) so every message arrives in the right one.
- Save.
Consent and quiet hours
Snowmass only sends to contacts who are verified and haven't opted out, and it respects your organization's quiet hours (in your timezone) so no one gets a 3 a.m. text they didn't ask for. A contact can reply STOP to a text to opt out of SMS at any time, and that's honoured automatically.
Choosing channels well
- Email is good for detailed before/after summaries.
- SMS is best for the moving moments — en route, arrived, done.
- Set the language per contact, not per property — a single property can have an English manager and a French tenant, and each gets their own.
Contacts are optional. A property with no contacts still gets cleared exactly the same way; it just won't send anyone updates.
