Adding a property
Create a property your fleet clears — the basic building block of every storm.

What a property is
A property is a single place your fleet services: a home, a condo complex, a townhome row, a strip of driveways. It's the unit the swarm claims and clears during a storm, and everything else — boundaries, contacts, a service plan, service visits — hangs off it.
Add one by hand
- Open Properties and choose New property.
- Give it a clear name your dispatchers and operators will recognize on a map at 2 a.m. (the plain street name usually beats an internal code).
- Enter the address. Snowmass geocodes it to a point and drops a pin you can nudge if the rooftop marker lands in the wrong spot.
- Assign it to a location — the region this property belongs to. A property lives in exactly one location.
- Pick a service plan so the swarm knows what "cleared" means here.
- Save.
What to do next
- Draw the boundary so the swarm knows when an operator has actually arrived on property, not just driven past.
- Add contacts if this property should get automatic status updates.
- Bulk-loading a whole book of business? Skip the one-at-a-time form and use the CSV import instead.
A property with just a name and an address already works — the extras make dispatch and customer updates sharper, but you can add them any time.
