Rehearse a storm on your real properties and fleet

One click runs the real dispatch engine on your current book of business — on a throwaway copy — and shows you the projected run.

What Rehearse does

A regular simulation starts from a scenario you build by hand. Rehearse skips the setup: it takes your organization as it stands today — your active, geocoded properties, your real vehicle count and average speed, your default depot — and runs that through the same swarm dispatch engine that drives live storms. Then it replays the projected run with the same scrubber you know from simulations.

How to run one

  1. Open Rehearse a storm from the sidebar. The page shows how many of your properties are eligible (active, with a map location).
  2. Press the run button. Snowmass builds a fresh snapshot of your properties and fleet, executes it, and takes you straight to the replay.

Available to admins and dispatchers.

Safe by design

The rehearsal runs on a throwaway copy of your data. Nothing touches live operations, real vehicles, or customers — you can rehearse the night before a storm while a real event is on the board.

Good to know

  • Your org keeps one rehearsal, refreshed each time you run it — the simulation list stays clean instead of piling up.
  • If a rehearsal is still running, Snowmass sends you to watch it rather than rebuilding mid-run.
  • It needs at least one property with a map location, and a depot (or it falls back to the centroid of your properties) as the launch anchor.
