How vehicles are billed
Deployed = billed: any vehicle that plows in a month counts. Spares that never roll out are free — nothing to flag.
Deployed = billed
Your Snowmass invoice is vehicle-based: a monthly base fee plus a seasonal charge for each vehicle that actually deployed at least once that month. Your crew is always free — operators, dispatchers, and office staff are never a line on the bill.
Spares are free automatically
There's no billable toggle to manage. A machine that never rolls out has no deployment, so it never counts — keep as many spares, loaners, and backup units on hand as you like, at no cost. The month a spare does plow, it simply counts for that month, like any other working vehicle.
No effect on dispatch
Billing is purely a month-end tally of which vehicles deployed. It never changes how a machine is dispatched or how work is claimed — every active vehicle plows normally.
